I started the day with 56 high risk and severe vulnerabilities identified by the Acunetix scanner.
I could not raise the developer of the template where the vulnerabilities originated and even now 12 hours later I am still waiting for critical feedback from a well known Joomla template club.
This contrasts with the exceptional levels of service from the SecureLive team. This type of service culture is rare these days, and when you combine it with a product that closed every security hole in my site, that is what you call a fantastic product.
I am not one for writing reviews as they take up time I do not have, but this is the exception. I cannot praise this product and team highly enough. In fact if you have a Joomla site, you cannot afford to be without it! Every site needs this product and if you have it the return on investment makes it great value. How much is your peace of mind worth? A lot more I can assure you than the cost of this product.

I installed SecureLive on two of my sites just a couple of weeks ago after reading a good review about the product.
Im afraid in the past security has been a bit like life insurance - needed - but not really thought about often enough. As I increasingly rely on stable and reliable sites for my business, I have looked around for a reliable aid to security. Although in the few weeks since I installed the product, SecureLive has successfully tracked and blocked security incidents, the most encouraging aspect of using the product is the service.

I already had some confidence in the technology but the real icing on the cake is the superb customer support from Jeff and his team.

I am currently completing the migration of two further sites to v1.5 and I will certainly want to use this product.

Everything with this module has been top notch. If nothing else, the service has been exemplary. On service alone I would give SecureLive ten stars.

I have been running this service for a little over a month now. It has stopped a few attacks and reported them to me as they happened. Mapping them out for me to see where they are coming from and alerting the SecureLive team, allowing them to do their job. The module was as easy to install as any other Joomla module.

Unfortunately I have experienced a few problems, but this is where the service comes in. It appears that the hosting company that I am using had a few weird settings that did not want to play nicely with SecureLive. The first time I installed it, it did not work properly, crashed my site actually. The live chat was closed, I called the Support # and got Jeff Brown on the line, the CEO and Founder of SecureLive (this man truly works too hard). He promptly called me back so that I did not have to incur any long distance charges (the 800 # was routing to an answering machine and I was too impatient to wait until the morning which is why I called the support line, this was about 23:00 for Jeff). He spent close to an hour on the phone with me, and my hosting company, working through the problem and getting them set up on their end so that his module would work for me. WOW, who does that these days, Jeff, YOU ROCK!!!

Since the first install and fix, SecureLive has had a few updates to their module (download and install the new version), and of course it seems that I am the type of person that if something is going to go wrong, it will go wrong for me (or maybe for my hosting company). I have had a couple of issues with new releases of SecureLive and Jeff has spent a few hours in total on the phone with me and my hosting company over a couple different things. I am a Canadian customer and was amazingly impressed when Jeff spent an hour or so on the phone with me and my hosting company on the 4th of July, 3:00am his time (he should have been partying, or asleep). Every time I have had an issue, Jeff has been there and fixed it promptly, or more importantly helped fixed it on my end because the module has worked properly, the hosting environment has been the real problem (can't wait to see the hosting packages that Jeff is working on!).

Buy this module, be happy supporting a man and company that you know will go above and beyond in service, while at the same time keeping your site up and running through all the attacks that are out there. Thanks for every thing Jeff!

This is a great product. I have had several attacks on my site and this product stopped them dead in their tracts. One of the easiest install and setup that I have encountered. Not to mention the absolute best customer support I have found. I had two issues and went to their site and was online in seconds with the tech support team. They fixed the issues in minutes. Not only that but they have helped me with several layout and css issues even though that isn't their product. You have to be really foolish not to buy this product. Absolute MUST HAVE!!!!!!!

I initially had an issue with ioncube not being setup on my server (Godaddy) and within a few minutes of chatting with Jeff Brown, he had walked me through getting it up and going. Great support above and beyond what anyone could expect and a really innovative and just cool extension. I wish every business I dealt with was as on top of it as these guys are. As a Children's Summer Camp owner and director, web security and privacy is a top concern to me and my camp families. SecureLive has been monitoring our site since our new site went live. For me it's nice to know that SecureLive is there for support and is also blocking any attempt before the attacker is entering our site. Thank you SecureLive for letting me sleep at night.

Just installed SecureJOOMLA!, but had problems related to country location. Jeff Brown (may his tribe increase!) stayed with the issue until fixed. Apparently everyone else will benefit from this fix. Brilliant! Happy to do business with SecureLive!
This product was originally recommended by Barrie North (www.compassdesign.net) and I'm glad I took his advice. Excellent product, it does what it says it will do, secure the site.

The installation process wasn't great, but the subsequent support was excellent. My 5 stars are primarily for the support.

I installed the module today, so I can't really comment on whether it does it's job yet (although all looks good), but I can tell you that the when I had difficulties with the installation (a fairly major issue to be honest), the support was fast, and a solution was implemented within 45mins of my original installation attempt. That's not bad!

Thanks for this module which gives me peace-of-mind after falling to 3 attacks in the last year.

My website was hacked yesterday morning and needless to say I was infuriated! My first inclination was to look for a product to audit my existing security and notify me of potential exposure. After an extensive search, I found Securelive.

After reading the description and realizing how innovative this solution was, I had plenty of "what if" questions. Usually, when a potential customer has questions, you are directed to a support forum or asked to submit an email which usually is responded to incomplete, and in poor translated english several days later.

So when I called th TOLL FREE number and was immediately routed to a software professional who answered ALL of my questions. I had the pleasure of speaking with Jeff Brown, the lead developer for the software solution I chose. This man spent hours with me, understanding my situation, educating me on his company's software and suggesting ways to optimize my security needs.

During setup, I had some backend issues with missing files and changed configurations I beleive resulted from my afforementioned web breach. As I was trying to navigate through it all, Jeff took time to give a follow up call, as he stated he would keep an eye out for my activation info once I installed the nodule. Very timely indeed! I gave a brief rundown of the issues I was facing, and within seconds, I was not only guided to the files & folders that needed correcting, but I was educated as to the usual methods behind such attacks.

To say this dev was "very knowledgeable" would be a gross understatement. He probed for pertinent information that would've taken me a half hour to explain and got straight to the issues.

Anticipating my security needs, he made me aware of a useful add-on product that would enhance my security further. What happened next was truly an anomoly of the software industry.

By tactfully determining my new site wasn't currently generating enough revenue to cover the add-on, HE suggested I hold of on that purchase. Effectively foregoing profit by upselling (which is an instinctively necessary quality of any good marketer or salesman)to make sure my site was protected and profitable! THAT JUST DOESEN'T HAPPEN IN TODAY'S MARKETPLACE, especially in today's economy.

He spent further time walking me through the functionality of my software purchase, demoed a simulated hack on my site, (not some pre-fabed, perfect scenario dummy site)and showed how to view the analytics of the hack!

I'm sorry that I spent most of my review covering the ever important support factor, and the above & beyond service I recieved from Mr. Brown. But from a small business owners perspective - Service and support beyond the sale is golden! As far as the software, you're not going to find a product so comprehensive and thorough. So much, that you not only have the knowledge that your site is 98.9% protected, but with the analytic tools, you are actually empowered to identifiy your would-be-hacker right down to his city, zip, ip and other pertinent info. You just can't get that anywhere else! So yeah, the software sells itself. Sorry for the long read, but I truly felt compelled to take time (which I never seem to have any of) and urge anyone with the need for comprehensive site security and support to take advantage of this software!
